copy footage from my apple pro laptop to a different editing system

how do i copy my imovie project to another editing systen that only has rca and svhs connections?
How to i get the output out of my laptop to my 2nd editing machine?

    You would need some sort of hardware to give you rca video out. Depends which MacBook you have -- which type of video out you have. For instance, if you have DVI out, then you can use the Apple "Apple DVI to Video Adapter." So it is just a matter of taking a look at what you have and finding an adapter that will take that to standard rca video out.

      Another thing to consider is burning a DVD of the video footage. Then using a DVD player to send the video to whatever this editing system is.

    I think the dvd way would compress the quality to much
    I have a macbook pro with usb.
    Can i go from usb to firewire in on my 2nd editing system?

      Either way, you are going to get SD quality. Standard video and s-video only support SD. DVD files are generally less compressed than computer video files. I don't think you will see much of a difference going video file to DVD to video editing system as compared to video file played over a DVI-to-standard video converter. In fact, the DVD method might be cleaner.
