Copying a Disk Image onto a HD

I have a disk image of a bootable drive saved on my Drobo. I would like to copy this image onto a computer. What is going to be the best way to do this? Will the Snow Leopard installer allow you to simply copy a disk image onto the boot drive? Should I boot the new computer up in target mode and copy the image over somehow? Any suggestions would be welcome

You need to boot from another drive (the Snow Leopard install disk, sure) and then run Disk Utility or some other program that allows you to copy disks. The Snow Leopard install disk should have Disk utility on it.
You can only use target mode if you are transferring between two Macs -- you can't use it between a Mac and a Drobo.

I understand that. I'm simply trying to figure out how best to do it. I have another mac that I could run the Drobo off of and have the target mode computer run off of the MacBook Pro. Too many computers!
