Gary, I have read a lot of articles about how one can get Lion.
Just about all of them tell me, that you can get it from the Mac App store. What about the old fashion way? I mean, when one buys a new Mac, or has that changed, also ???
After Lion is out and one can download it from the App store, will the new computers still have Snow Leopard installed and if one has a mind to, get it for free from the App store?
This is all I hear – The App store, the App store, the App store!

Does Lion come pre-installed on a new Mac?

The second Lion is released then all new Macs (the ones sold by Apple, anyway) will have Lion on them. As a matter of fact, if you buy a new Mac now, you get Snow Leopard on it, but a free upgrade to Lion when it comes out.
Hey Gary, if you bought your mac 3-4months ago, do you think it is still possible to get that free upgrade to Lion?
The cut-off date is June 6, 2011.
