Hi Gary, I’m considering buying a casebag for my macbook 13 (new unibody design) and I was wondering what are the considerations vis-a-vis venting out the heat from the machine and what sort of bag design to avoid? There’s a bag which covers a quarter of the vent fan at each end but the centre is stuck in the bag…is that ok?

Are you talking about a case to carry your MacBook while it is closed and sleeping? Or, are you talking about a case that will actually enclose the MacBook while it is open and running?
I would assume that designed would take fans and heat into account. Read reviews of the case and see if anyone has complained about heat problems.
