How Can I Get More GB On My Mac?

I tried to install Lion on my Mac, but I have 1 GB memory.
Can I get more memory, or do I have to buy another Mac?

You may be able to add more memory. Depends which model you have and how much memory it can take.
Usually you purchase memory online and install it yourself. It is pretty much the only thing that just about anyone can upgrade on your Mac. But if you are not familiar with doing such things you may want to take it to a shop to have it done.

I have just watched your video link on this topic, again what you say in your video is more or less basically right. I am not technically minded. On one occasion my Mac was sent away to get the screen replaced. I asked the tech guy if he could upgrade my memory, and he said as we already have your Mac and under warranty yes. He doubled the amount of memory to 8 GB for £130 which to me was OK. You mentioned the Mac Mini and this one is a problem. Gary
