How Do I Block Emails From Certain Senders?

iMAC Mail in El Capitan: I have set up the rule in RULES to block any email that contains a certain email address. I checked the box for move the message to the junk folder. Yet, I continue to get mail from this person.
Please advise.
Thank you.

Sounds like you perhaps didn't set the rule up properly. Can you give me the specific of what the rule looks like?

MacMail Prefs. Rules: Description: block 1; If ANY of the following conditions are met: From Contains x@comcast.net +
    From Contains x@wi.rr.com
    Move message to mailbox: JUN

I would check to make sure that the "from" field on the messages really is from one of those two email addresses. It could be that the "reply-to" field is that, but the "from" is not.
Also, are you receiving email on just your Mac? How about an iPhone or something else? It could be that the other device gets the message first, puts it in your inbox, and then your Mac never gets to process those rules.

Will check on both of those issues.

    Thank you so much!
