My Event Library has a couple of iMovie Temporary Items. Won’t right click>Move to Trash; won’t File>Move to Trash. Not sure why program insists that I keep them? Can I delete them? If so, how?

Where do you see these items? Inside iMovie, or in the Finder? If in the Finder, what is the path to them, exactly? And are you trying to delete them with iMovie running?
Hard you tried to restart (which makes sure all running processes have to stop) and then delete them?
I have found out that one. When some things are running you can`t empty the trash,and it says shut all applications down,and then restart after the trash is emptied. The pop up notices helped me.
