How Do I Get Folder Icons To Automatically Realign To an Newly Adjusted Window Size?

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your hard work and dedication to Macology. When opening a folder I have it set up to view the content as icons. But if I decide to make the window smaller some of the icons become hidden outside the window dimension and I have to either scroll to see them all or do Cmd+Shift+A then Cmd+Shift+1 to get the icons to conform to the resized window. How can I get the icons to auto-snap to the window size?
Thanks!

So in order to do that, you need to relinquish control of the icon positions and let the Finder re-arrange them to fit the window size.
With the Finder window at the front, you need to choose View, Arrange By and then choose a criteria for the Finder to use to arrange the icons. For instance, if you choose Name, then the icons will be arranged by name. As you resize the window, the icons will re-arrange themselves by name to fit.
To turn this off and manually arrange the icons again, set View, Arrange By to "None."
