I have tried to transfer my PC outlook mail data to my new MacBook Pro in Lion mail using migration assistant, my mail data got transferred but without any mail attachments, only body text I have received. How do I get attachments? Can any one please guide how to get attachments?

I don't think Migration Assistant deals with Outlook in any special way, since it isn't a Mac program. But you are doing a Windows to Mac migration? Then I'm not sure exactly what MA is doing for that specific case.
Perhaps Outlook doesn't store attachments with the messages but places them in a cache of downloaded files? Maybe that's the issue?
You could always see if you could export your Mail from Outlook on your Windows computer, and then import it on your Mac.
Yes I am doing Windows to Mac migration, I have installed migration assistant software into windows & attached PC & Mac using Ethernet cable & then using migration assistant software, I could get all my PC data transferred to Mac including all PC Outlook mail settings & mail data(except attachments & sub folders)
When you say export Outlook mail & then import into Mac, can we use that way into Lion mail? Does Lion mail has import option of outlook data?
When you go to File, Import Mailboxes you gets variety of options. So you just need one that matches how you exported from Outlook. The "Microsoft Entourage" one is probably for Outlook/Entourage on the Mac. But you might have an export function on Outlook windows that goes to that format. The MBOX option is a standard format and Outlook should be able to export to that.
