How do I monitor the Internet traffic on my network?

I have a ton of different devices on my home network, including several computers, ipad, iphones, TiVo, Apple TV, etc. I would like to have a way of monitoring what is taking up bandwidth at a given time. What is the best way of going about doing that?

I would check your admin console for the modem. It may have some feature that does this. It may not.
Even if it does, it is going to be difficult to interpret the data. There will probably be lots of data and it will be hard to tell what is doing what.
