To print only some labels in Address Book (called Contacts in Mountain Lion and after) all you need to do is to select just the names you want.
So run Address Book. Then click on the first name. Now you can use Command+click to select more than one name. Shift+click will select a range.
Once you have selected just those, you File, Print and print your labels.
If you have a very complex selection of names, you can always create a group and then put all of those names in that group to make it easier.
