Im buying a MacBook Air very soon but I need to know how to install Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Business 2011 as there is no disc drive. Or can you just download the program?

You would buy Office directly from the Microsoft site where they have it available for download. No no CD or DVD required.

Spend the $79 and get the optical drive. You might even want to burn a CD or DVD some day.

The price at the Microsoft store is full price. You can buy retail at a lower price and use the CK key to activate the trial.

Office 2011 has different requirements than previous versions. In the past you could use 1 CD key to install on one desktop and one laptop. Now it only installs on one computer. You have to buy a pack for the number of installs you need. In addition H&S no longer includes Outlook. Entourage was discontinued.

See this link to help you pick the correct version.
