I bought a new car which has a slot to add a memory card that’s connected to the stereo device. So I added 50 songs in mp3 format and when I plug it in to the car it shows 100 songs installed. In other words duplicates. But the first 50 won’t play, just give error message. Is there a way to correct this problem?

I'll bet they aren't duplicates. It is probably just the way the car's software reads the disk.
It is hard to say how to fix it without knowing the car's system. So I would just experiment. Maybe try formatting the SD card as something different.
Or, don't worry about it and just know that this is how it works.
