I have been enjoying the convenience of giving people my contact details via iPhone. (Saves carrying business cards and is also convenient for the recipient.)
However when I tested this by sending the vcf. card to myself I found that I was sending all the stored details my record. Including date of birth, relationships, all my email addresses (some of which are set up for private security reasons, etc.
I have been struggling trying to figure out the best way to manage this. Can you suggest anything?
Perhaps this could be the topic of a future video.

Simply create another contact entry. Put exactly the data you want to share in it. Then share that entry rather than your main one.
Thanks Gary,
I will do that but I am thinking that contacts will automatically find and add in the other details again. Is this a setting that can be turned off?
No, Contacts should definitely not do that. They would be two separate contact entries. Use different nicknames for each so you can tell them apart. But Contacts should mess with them, it is up to you to set them up the way you want.
