I have an app called Logos that seems like it is stuck at a given version (1.5.2 in this case). I can update it from my iPad or from iTunes, but it never leaves the “needs to be updated” queue in iTunes. How can I reset this app without deleting it?

I would delete it. Then add it again from the store. If it is a purchased app, then you won't be charged as long as you are using the same iTunes account.
