iCal – How To De-cloud an Existing Calendar and Which Calendar Is Which?

My Ical Calendars, when clicked, only shows iCloud – which is fine, really, since I want it all on cloud. But one of my calendars, I don’t want have on cloud, just on my Mac. I could create a new On My Mac calendar, but I want this one, since I’ve already got entries in it. How do I do this, any help?
Secondly, I have a calendar called Calendar and one called Home. Different colors, but similar entries – as in, I’d have just double clicked and created some during MobileMe syncing. Now I can’t tell which is the default calendar and which, if any, is the iCloud default. Both are synced, so that’s not a problem, but I want only one basic calendar for day to day stuff, not two, and I can’t seem to merge the two.
Thank you all.

You want to move those events to the iCloud calendar, then? You need to select this events and control+click them to change which calendar they belong to.
It sounds like you just need to choose which calendar you want to use and move each event to that calendar. The Inspector may help you too. I don't think there is any way to do it in batches, but it shouldn't take that long to sort things out.
