i have a imovie project about 12 minutes long and i have about 10 gig on my internal macbook pro and when i try to
upload the video to youtube it comes back telling me i don’t have enough space. i don’t know what that means but if i upload the same project to facebook i have no problems.
Does anyone have any idea what not enough space means.

Are you saying you only have about 10GB of free space on your hard drive. I would clear more space as soon as you can. Having that little free will slow down your Mac.
My guess is that 10GB isn't enough space to export your 12-minute long video at a decent quality for YouTube. Facebook probably uses much lower quality (small dimensions, I'm sure). So that's the difference.
Either way, clear off more space (I'd recommend operating with at least 10% free, 25% if you can) and try it then.
