In Apple Mail Can I Get Address Completion To ONLY Use Address Book?

When doing address completion Apple Mail uses both Address Book and all previous mail. I’d like Apple Mail to only use Address Book. Is that possible? Thanks.

I don't think there is a way to have it permanently not use previous recipients. But you can delete them or clear them out at any time. In Mail, just go to Window, Previous Recipients. Then select them all (select one, and then Command+A) and then Remove From List.
So if your problem is that you have too many in there, this will solve it. Then maybe go back and visit this Previous Recipients list every once in a while. It is also a good idea to review it and use the "Add to Address Book" button to fill out your Address Book with people you know before deleting them all.
