IOS 5 and the iPhone 4

After upgrading to iOS 5 (iPhone 4) and watching your video 617, I see that in my phone settings the iCloud and Twitter tabs are greyed out and I can do nothing with them. I registered for iCloud when I updated to Lion 10.7.2 and that seemed to go okay. Any suggestions or things I can do to get them back?

What do you mean by "tabs"? Do you mean the list in your Settings app?
I would go into Settings and select iCloud and then set it up in there. But I don't know what to do if those are greyed out.
Searching around it seems a few people are reporting this.
I'd try the standard thing: restart, resync, maybe even a backup and restore.

Gary-what I did (trial and error) was go to "Settings", "General", then "Restrictions". In there I had to Allow Changes to the Accounts tab. That un-grayed the two tabs of iCloud and Twitter, then set them up as normal.
One other quick note - in your video you showed a twitter icon in launchpad, I did not get that one added. Take care!

Not sure what you mean. Video 617? That's the iPad. "LaunchPad" is on the Mac. You can get the Twitter app for free in the Mac App Store if you want it on your Mac.

      THANK YOU!

I had the exact same issue with iCloud and Twitter grayed out and this worked perfectly I have been going nuts trying to figure this out.

your video 617 titled IOS 5, First Look.

Right. I understand that. But your comment is about LaunchPad, which isn't shown in that video (it is a Mac feature, and I'm showing the iPad). So I'm confused as to whether you are asking about the Mac or the iPad.
