Gary what’s your take on the motorolla xoom tablet vs the iPad. I’m completely an apple user and most devices are in sync. Got Apple tv too.
Some on twitter say the xoom is far better and as an Os it is android is better. I hate to believe that.
What’s your take on this ?

I haven't really looked at the Xoom very closely. Isn't it more expensive then the iPad? And I have to think there aren't nearly as many apps. And it is really all about the apps.
Cyrus, ultimately which tablet is 'best' is really down to the end-user experience. What 'feels' right to your way of thinking. What physically feels right in your hand.
No doubt the new iPad 2 has a lot going for it, but that's not to say the Xoom couldn't be the perfect device for you. The only real way to know? Play with one when it comes out. Get a feel for the OS and how it works.
If you love customizing and such then maybe the Xoom is for you. If you like less customization, but a well-designed and thoroughly tested OS then Apple may be for you.
Everyone out there will have an opinion and there are plenty of Apple lovers and Apple haters who will spend inordinate amounts of time trying to convince shoppers one way or the other.
Get the facts. Read reviews from reputable sites. Play with the devices and make a choice which works best for you.
