Lion has the ability to cut and paste files

Just wanted to let you and anyone else know that you can now cut and paste files in Lion.
The keyboard shortcut for this is: Cmd+Option+V.
Select a file. Press Cmd+C (to copy).
Choose a location where you wish to move the file to.
Press Cmd+OPTION+V to move the file to that location.

Right. You could COPY and paste. But in Lion you can CUT and paste. Or, as Lion defines it: Copy and "Move Item Here."
So you are selecting a file. Then going to a destination. Then telling the Finder you want to move the file you copied, as opposed to making a copy of the file and leaving the original behind.
