Over time, I have accumulated quite a few menu items that reside on the right side of my MacBook Pro’s menu bar.
However, when I start up certain apps that have quite a few menu items of their own, such as iTunes, some of these items extend to the right far enough to overwrite items on the menu bar’s right side.
Is there a way, without closing the app, to reveal all the items on the right side of my menu bar?

You've got a finite amount of space in the menu bar, so you'll have to manage it. Try turning off some of the menubar icons (individually in the settings for each item) or shrinking them (using icon-only for fast user switching, for instance, or the clock icon for the date).
There no other way to do it, as far as I know.
