Move Bootcamp to new Computer

Just received my new iMac i7 and copied all data from my old 24″ iMac. But for some reason it left out my bootcamp drive (partition).

Do you know what needs to be done, to get my old Windowsperformance under bootcamp (vm ware) running on my new computer ?

Is it possible to just copy the bootcamp volume to the new drive ? Or is it more complex ?

I'm not 100%, but I think it is more complex. You can try using disk utility to copy the Boot Camp partition, but I don't think that will work as you can't just copy Windows from one piece of hardware to another. You will probably need to do a re-install of Windows like you would with a PC (though a PC would come with Windows installed, so the factory does that step for you). You may want to run BootCamp Assistant to see if there is any option there to move the partition, but probably not.
