OS X system install DVDs

I misplaced the OS X system install DVDs for my Mac Pro (bought in 2007). How can I get new ones? I don’t have AppleCare. Thanks.

I've never had to do it, but you can supposedly call Apple and get them to send you a replacement set. I think they charge $10 for shipping or something like that. And you would have had to register your Mac when you first bought it -- that little registration screen when you first started it up.
I don't think it has anything to do with AppleCare, just registering it.
Give them a try and report back. Love to hear how the process goes.

This isn't going to help Russell now, after the fact, but http://www.macworld.com/article/160124/2011/05/osxflashdrive.html#lsrc.nl_mwweek_h_cbstories offers a multi-step process for making a flash drive copy of the OS installer. Once I find a large enough flash drive, I'm going to try it. The claim is that reinstalling from the flash is up to 33% faster than using a DVD. Commenters are saying it works well.
