How do I retrieve the photos which I’ve taken with my iPhone? I use a MacBook Pro.
Sorry — new(ish) to the MacBook and can’t figure out how to get those darned iPhone photos backed up!

Connect the iPhone to your Mac so it syncs. Run iPhoto on your Mac. Select the iPhone on the left and then look for the import button on the screen.
I believe one can also use the built-in application Image Capture to transfer images from one's iPhone to a Mac. While it doesn't offer all the editing & cataloguing options, it is quick, simple and gets one's images onto the hard drive.
