First of all thanks for the Newsletter #153. It is indeed a very big loss to us MAC users!
Anyway getting to the point – I’ve shot a lot of short films on my Sony HDR CX110 & i use imovie to edit them. I just cant seem to get that HD look in my final video. It’s always grainy. I can’t figure out what i’m doing wrong! Maybe some advice will help!

Which export settings are you using? What are the dimensions of your final exported video (are they HD dimensions?) Where are you viewing them (on your Mac, or on a TV?)
I used to finalize the project & then export it using any of the HD options (720 / 1080). After i posted this question, I saw an episode of yours, talking about different export options, i'll probably try out one of those methods. If it doesn't work then i'll get back to you again.
