Forum Question: Problems with MacMost podcast???

I have not been able to receive any podcasts from MacMost for about the last 5 weeks or so. I have unsubscribed and resubscribed a couple of times – but I get an error whenever I try to download an episode. BTW, all episode list with a length of 0:00 in the iTunes store links.

I am running the latest version of iTunes, Snow Leopard, etc. I also had a friend with a Mac try to subscribe to the podcast, and he had the same results.

Is there something we should do? Is anyone else having this problem?

The podcast feed is working properly. I haven’t had any other reports.
What error are you getting? Exactly?
The videos are served from http://blip.tv — are you able to get to that Web site and view videos? If not, then perhaps your Internet service provider is blocking it.

I suspect that is the problem. I run a filter on my machine, and it is blocking the blip.tv site. I assume you must hav e just changed the site hosting your podcast? I had no problems before, and I have been a subscriber for about a year now.

No change here. The MacMost video podcast has been hosted on blip.tv since day one, about three years ago. So the videos are served up from that domain. You’ll need to unblock it to get them.
Why would you run a filter to block a web site from yourself?
