SD card recovery?

Hi, Gary. I have BIG problem and I do not know how to “fix” this. I was in trip to Europe last month and I was taking pictures and video. I was 10 days there. However, now I notice that all the pictures and video from the 3rd day do not exist. I think I forgot to import them to my Hard Drive that day. I deleted them and I continued taking pictures the rest of the day….do you know any software (if free ever better) that help me to go back in time on my SD card and “find” those pictures and video? Thanks

This happened to me once before, and I used File Salvage (http://macmost.com/filesalvage.html) to get almost all of my photos back.
But the problem is that you deleted them and then took more pictures. Those pictures have to go somewhere, and chances are they were copied over the sectors on the drive where your other pictures were. So I wouldn't give you much of a chance of recovery.
And I should warn you that it is a highly manual process. These programs can't tell you what data it finds is junk as opposed to any photo, so you get a ton of unnamed "stuff" back and have to sort though it to see if there is anything you want.

Thanks. I will try it but I think I will not have luck this time because the day lost was the 3td and I was 10 days in Europe. Every day, after loaded the pictures to my computer, I deleted them I took new image.

I've also used a product called RescuePro and got deleted video files back, but I didn't use the SD card after I accidentally formatted the card.

I actually got the RescuePro with an SD card I bought.
