Sending slideshows

I followed the video on how to set up a slideshow but how do I email a slideshows. Not to flicker, facebook etc. Just to friends. I have a MacBookPro Snow Leopard.

    To email a slideshow you must first export it. You can do that with the Export button that appears at the bottom of iPhoto when you are editing a slideshow.
    But the problem is that you end up with a video file. It could be large, depending on your export settings. So you may want to think twice about emailing it.
    I try not to email large files like that. It takes a lot of bandwidth on your end, and then again for all the people that receive it. In fact, many people have email size limits and inbox size limits. Sometimes these are 20MB or so -- and a video of a slideshow can easily be larger than that depending on how many photos and export options.
    So I would consider uploading and sharing with a service like Facebook, YouTube, Dropbox, MobileMe, etc. Then you can just email a link to the slideshow.

    Excellent advice Gary - sites like YouTube are a great choice if you want the slideshow to be available for public viewing. If not, you can use other services to share it, like FilesDIRECT, Dropbox and others.

    It would be nice if it were as easy as emailing it, but those size restrictions you mentioned can be pretty small...
