I'm not sure what you are asking. Have you tried syncing with iTunes and had a problem?

i can't figure out how to sync with iTunes, so perhaps that is the problem. (and just for the record, i don't have an iTunes account, but i have a MobileME account). so, i.e., i would love for the music/podcasts on my iMac to show up in my iTunes on my iPhone.

    thanks again,

Syncing with iTunes is pretty easy. Just connect your iPhone and then run iTunes if it does launch by itself. It should walk you through it if it is your firs time.

i figured it out.... i didn't recognize until looking through some forums that you have to have leopard or snow leopard to be compatible with the iphone. i bought my machine in 07, so i'm still running tiger. now i just have to find an upload disc....

Try to not mix songs and podcasts in one playlist. See if that helps.
