There is a folder I don’t have permission to see. Why?

On my hard drive is a folder with a red dot called user template. When I click on it, it says I don’t have permission.
It is the ONLY folder on my computer I can’t open.
What’s in this “secret” folder?
I’m the ONLY user and administrator.

    Mac Hd>System>Library>User Template

That's the System user template. It is used for the default settings when a new user is created. You can't access it from the Finder, only from Terminal as the "root" user.
No need to mess with it, or anything in your System folder.
