Two monitors, one menu bar?

In trying to learn Aperture from the lynda.com site, I have the lynda tutorial (on Firefox) on my smaller monitor and Aperture open on a bigger monitor so I can work along with the instructor. Tell me that I don’t have to be limited to one menu bar, on either one monitor or the other. Surely there’s a way to keep Firefox’s menu bar with it and Aperture’s menu bar on the other monitor with it. If we can put a man on the moon…
Thanks.

I see what you are saying. But there's only one menu bar and it shows the menu items for the frontmost application. If there were two menu bars, you would still have to bring one application to the front to control it. It would create all sorts of odd confusion with keyboard shortcuts as well.
