Which Web Browser Is the Best?

I am currently using a Mac Book Pro 13″ that I use constantly throughout the day. I am in grad school doing lots of research and sometimes some design work. After hearing other students in my program using anything from Google Chrome to Firefox I was wondering if there is a best option besides Safari? I don’t mind switching but don’t want to download a program that I won’t neeed. Space isn’t an issue for now since my Mac Book Pro is hardly 2 years old and back up a lot of work on external drives. I have over 190 GB left on my harddrive. Any suggestions?

It is a subjective thing. Each browser has its little features that the others don't.
Firefox, for instance, has a ton of developer plug-ins that I sometimes use. But Safari has a developer console that fills most of this need now. Chrome has some interesting Google app store features, as well as special methods of loading Gmail pages for speed.
But in the end, they should all be about the same. Sometimes one jumps ahead of the other in speed or features, and then the rest catch up with the next version.
Safari is nice for Mac users because it integrates with iCloud (bookmark syncing) and it is already built in.
If you don't have a good reason to try or use others, I would just stick with Safari. I try them all, and I prefer Safari.

I have tried them all. Safari isn`t the best but i find it more user friendly than the other`s.

for me, after more than one year using my Mac, Safari is still the best for me (of course, there are few situations that Safari is not as good as others).
