“My new toaster has an App Store. For 99 cents I can get an app that burns a picture of Elvis into the toast. For $2.99 it will tweet when the toast is done.”

    I love J. King’s cartoons. As a thwarted cartoonist myself, I wonder how he
    gets his color. I use time-consuming watered acrylic for flesh tones. Any ready-made flesh color?

      Hi Hal:

      I use Photoshop CS5 to color all my cartoons.

      I draw the cartoons, then scan them in, then color them.

      You can make your own flesh color, then save it.

      It sure beats the days when I used to watercolor all my cartoons.
