Mac Mojave Course Coming Soon!
Apple will soon release the latest version of macOS and I've been working hard to create a new course for it. The Udemy course will be a comprehensive look at all aspects of the new operating system, including new features like Desktop Stacks, Dark Mode, Gallery View, the new screenshot tool, and new apps like News and Stocks. If you would like to be among the first to know about the course, and get my special introductory offer discount, just click this link and I'll send you an email when the course is available. -- Gary
You can create up to 3 extra email addresses in your iCloud account that you can use to make your real email address. These extra addresses will direct email to your regular iCloud account, but the sender doesn't know what your real email address is. A quick and easy way to create a video slideshow with your photos is to use the built-in Slideshow function in the Photos app. You can just select some photos, stick with the defaults, and get a video to upload to YouTube or Facebook in less than a minute. When creating word processing documents you can insert page breaks and section breaks. It is helpful to think of both types of breaks as actual characters in your text, and you can see them as such when you show invisible characters. Page breaks are simply ways to force the text to start on the next page. Section breaks are more complex, giving you control over properties of the pages within the sections and also allowing you to re-arrange pages in your document. Read More...

In Safari, you can see where a link on a page goes before you click it. Just hover your cursor over the link and look at the bottom left corner of the Safari window. If you don't see the URL appear there, then check to make sure you have the Status Bar turned on by going to View, Show/Hide Status Bar. But keep in mind that if the site uses a URL shortener or link service that you may not be looking at the final destination.
