That option is for POP users, not IMAP users. If you are using IMAP, then it is a whole different way of working. Your emails don’t “go” to either your iPhone or your Mac, they are on the server. You can set up both your devices to use IMAP and then share the account between them. Read up more about how IMAP works.

My emails only go to my iphone. They don’t show up on my computer. I read somewhere that I have to change the setting in “Delete from server” but that option doesn’t appear in my list. It says IMAP Path Prefix where “delete from server” should be. Why is this???
