    Ever wanted to charge your iPod but didn’t want it to update automatically? To connect your iPod to your computer without automatically updating, hold down the Command and Option keys as you connect the iPod to your computer. Make sure to hold the keys down until the iPod appears in the iTunes window. It’s that easy and the same tip works for your iPhone as well.
