Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500M

I’ve been hearing about this scanner for years. I finally decided to go paperless in my office, which means scanning a ton of documents. So I paid the price and bought the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500M. Worth every penny. You can feed this thing tons of pages and it eats them up and spits them out as PDF files. The Mac software works great too. This thing looks small and fragile, but it acts big and tough.

    We've had this for a couple years. It's an AWESOME scanner...saves so much time, cuz it scans double-sided at the same time!

    I have this for about a month now, switching to paperless, LOVE IT. I also purchased a DEVONtechnologies Pro Office to catalog all my documents and research papers. Great application. Enjoy your Scansnap.

    How do I convert the info from scanned receipts into excel? I thought with the s1500m scansnap, there would be an easy program for scanning receipts and converting info into an organized report of income/expenses. I cannot figure out how to do this! Please help!

      There are a variety of apps that do this. Search the Mac App Store for one. Not sure if one comes with the ScanSnap itself -- check the CD or their web site to see.
