Resizing and Positioning Green Screen Video In iMovie

You can't resize or position an overlay and also apply a green screen effect in iMovie at the same time. However, you can do the scaling positioning over a green background, export, and then use the resulting video in another project to get the same result.

I'm trying to make intro video for a job interview. I made 4' long video with Imovie where I'm speaking. Boring but they asked to do so. So I would like to do "opposite" - having me at the main screen and having one smaller video in second range priority. But this small video I want to be as a constant picture stripe at the bottom ... like film made by my photos of all my work is running the whole time at the bottom. PIP or green screen or split or???Thanks

Sasa: Sounds like PIP is what you want. But experiment and try both.

Thank you! I knew there was a way to do this and just didn't know how to go about it. Just need to thank you and hope this post remains. Everyone puzzled by resizing and positioning green screen in iMovie should watch this video.
