I use Aperture for basic cataloguing and post processing. I then use Luminar 3 for advanced processing. This results in the image being put into Tiff. I need it back in jpeg for transmitting to an on-line contest.

Most graphics apps will allow you to export as jpeg images. If you are working in Luminar 3, then I'm sure there must be an export option to export as jpeg. If not, you could always open the tiff file in Preview and export from there. Or, from Aperture for that matter.
