How Do I Delete Part of An iMessage Conversation?

Hi Gary, Is there a way to remove some parts of an iMessage conversation, but retain other parts? I see only delete as an option or hide.

    On the Mac you can Control+click any message and then choose Delete.

    On iOS, you can tap and hold a message, then choose More... and then select that message and others, then tap the trash can.
