I’m in GarageBand and I need to transfer track into different GarageBand window. I am a beginner and I thought I could use different tracks for different tunes which I did. Now I need for each track to their own window. Does GarageBand allow for two windows to be opened at the same time so that I can transfer files by just dragging and drop.

How Can I Have Two GarageBand Windows Opened Simultaneously?

GarageBand only works with one document at a time, like other big media apps. But you can still copy and paste between two documents. Just open one, select and copy what you need. Then open another document and paste it into it.
Another option for your particular case would be to duplicate the file. Then open one of them and delete one track. Open the other and delete the other track.
Thanks for your answer. Whilst time consuming I have managed to apply copy and past using short cuts and it worked a treat, although a little patience was required.
