When you do a backup of your Mac on iCloud, are your music files also backuped? On my last back-up I did not see my music listed. Must I do a separate backup for my Music files on a separate device?

How Do I Backup Of All Mac’s Music Files?

There is no such thing as a backup of your Mac to iCloud. There is an iPhone/iPad backup feature but not a Mac backup feature. You have iCloud Drive, which will store your files (not libraries like Music, Movies, TV, Photos) in iCloud Drive as long as you place the files in the iCloud Drive folder on your Mac. But that is storage, not a backup. And it wouldn't include things outside of the iCloud Drive folder like in your Music folder.
You backup your Mac using Time Machine. That would include everything on your drive. If you are using the Music app with regular imported music (not Apple Music) then all of those files would be backed up.

My mistake Gary, I was talking and writing the same time. What I meant was Time Machine, not iCloud. Thanks
Ken: OK, so, yes, Time Machine should back up everything. I assume you have your Music library as regular songs, and aren't using Apple Music or iTunes Match? In that case, the Music folder with your entire Music library is backed up.
