How To Move Cursor To Next Line Using Apple Pencil and Using Return Key On Kbd?

How to insert a line brake to break the paragraph and move on next line using Apple Pencil gesture?

I would like to use Apple Pencil for note taking. I do not find any help anywhere e.g. Apple Support etc.

Device: iPad

App: Notes

First, there's a button to tap in the strip at the bottom. It is at the bottom right and looks like a hook with an arrow facing left.

But you can also do it if you just start writing below the current line. Not right below, but a good distance. Practice with a sample note and try starting below the current line. If it continues the current line, try a bit lower. You'll eventually find the threshold. I find it works much better if you start writing slightly to the left of the left margin, then it gets the idea.
