How Do I Access an External Drive On Mac Air?

After connecting the drive, look in the left sidebar of any Finder window. You should see a section titled "Locations." If you don't see anything under it, hover the pointer to the left of the word "Locations" and click the arrow to reveal the list. Then click the drive in that list to view the contents in the Finder window.
