I simply love your website and thank you for teaching us so many new things.
I agreed with you completely about the Shutdown & Sleep Modes…
I have started using the Sleep mode but just once concern is that the rear top of the Imac remains Hot while in the Sleep mode.
Is this normal ? Should i restart it once a week or even that is not necessary ?
Thanks for your time Gary.

Hot? Or warm? It is normal for it to be a little warm, sure. Is it in real sleep, or just display sleep when it does this?
I don't think it is any cause for concern.
Only restart if you are having trouble. Otherwise, there's no point. I go months without restarting my Mac Pro or MacBook Pro.
Well your right it's Warm not really hot as it it gets like when burning Cds or Dvds and using Processor intensive programs.
Thanks so much Gary !
I always use the Activity Monitor App located in the Applications/Utilities Folder. This app is great to see if your processor is running high and RAM etc.
