I just realized that in my finder window next to the search/spotlight bar, there is a paper icon. If i point on it it says “com.Apple.systemsound.plist”. What the hell is it doing there? Why is it there?
How can i remove it?

You can place all sorts of things in your Finder toolbar. Not sure how this one got there -- perhaps an errant click and drag? They are easy to remove. Just View, Customize Toolbar, and then drag it out.

Or hold down CTRL(⌘) whilst clicking and dragging any icon in or out of the finder toolbar to add/remover is my preferred way of working - and this even works with the status bar in the top right corner.
Alrighty! Thx
