Have iMacOS Sierra. How Can I Put an Emoji From the List To the Email?
I have tried using combination control, option, command keys. I have tried to click on an emjoi and move it into the outgoing message and nothing has worked. I must be missing one key stroke.

To add an emoji character into any text editing environment, all you should need to do is use Control+Command+Space to bring up the character and then double-click that character. As long as the cursor insertion point is active in the text, it should appear there. Should work in any app where you type text and emoji characters are supported.
Gary - thank you for the additional motion of double clicking the emoji. I spent an hour trying to do that. Pat B
