How Do I Change the Apple ID On My iPhone To Match My Computer’s Apple ID/

Just bought a brand new iPhone from Verizon. I could not remember my Apple ID on my computer so they arbitrarily insisted on giving me a new one for the phone. Now that I am home and can look up my Apple ID how do I change the one on my new iPhone to match the one on my computer?

You simply sign out and then sign back in with your real Apple ID. But you may be signed in to many services with to. Check throughout the Settings app. Start with iCloud. Then iTunes. That may do it, but continue down the line checking Mail, Messages, etc.

Thanks. Sorry to be so stupid but "sign out" of what? I can see how to change it for iTunes but confused about what you mean by "simply sign out and then sign back in" - sign out where?

Go to the Settings app. Look for iCloud in the list. Tap on it. Then scroll to the bottom of that screen and tap the sign out button. Then sign into iCloud with the correct account.
Then go to Settings, iTunes &a App Store. Tap on your account ID at the top and then choose Sign Out. Then sign in again with your correct Apple ID.
