How Do I Delete Old Photos From iPhone 6?

I am running 10.3.2 on iPhone 6+ and can’t delete some of the photo’s using the “select” command to mark them because the photo’s are
“grayed” out.

    These are most likely photos you have synced from your Mac or PC via iTunes. You need to sync again, and select in iTunes which photos you want to sync in the iPhone's settings in iTunes. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201253.
